This policy explains how Omni Ignited Inc. handles information when you visit our website, contact us, subscribe to updates, make a donation, or use an authorized administrative area.

This Privacy Policy applies to omniignited.org and the pages, forms, and administrative tools that Omni Ignited Inc. operates through this website. It does not govern third-party websites or services that have their own privacy practices.

  • Your name, email address, and optional telephone number.
  • Your area of interest and the content of messages you send us.
  • Your communication preferences, including your choice to receive occasional email or SMS updates where those options are offered.
  • Donation-related information made available to us by Givebutter, such as your contact details, contribution amount, campaign, and transaction status. Payment-card and bank-account information is entered directly into Givebutter and is not collected by our website.
  • For authorized CMS users, account email, authentication, session, and content-editing activity needed to secure and operate the administrative portal.

Information collected automatically

When you use the website, we and our service providers may automatically receive information such as your browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, IP address, timestamps, and cookie or similar identifiers. With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of outreach and advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The Givebutter donation widget may also use cookies or similar technologies to provide and secure the donation experience.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • Respond to questions, volunteer interest, and partnership inquiries.
  • Send a confirmation or thank-you message after you contact us.
  • Send organizational updates by email or SMS when you have opted in and honor unsubscribe or opt-out requests.

  • Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents.

We may disclose information to directors, officers, volunteers, and service providers who need it to perform work for Omni Ignited. These providers include Givebutter for donations and contact management, Resend for transactional email, Brevo for email and SMS marketing, Google Analytics for website measurement, Meta for outreach and advertising measurement, and the providers that host our website, database, and media.

We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect the rights, safety, and security of Omni Ignited, our visitors, or others; or in connection with an organizational restructuring. We do not sell personal information.

5. Donations and third-party services

Donations are processed by Givebutter. Information submitted through its widget or campaign pages is also governed by the Givebutter Privacy Policy. Transactional email delivery is supported by Resend and is subject to the Resend Privacy Policy. Email and SMS marketing may be delivered through Brevo and is also subject to the Brevo Privacy Policy. Google describes its data practices in the Google Privacy Policy. When you allow marketing cookies, Meta Pixel is subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies and analytics choices

Cookies and similar technologies support website functionality, security, analytics, marketing measurement, and the Givebutter donation experience. Necessary technologies operate by default. Google Analytics loads only when you allow analytics cookies, and Meta Pixel loads only when you allow marketing cookies. You can make or change these choices at any time through Cookie Preferences in the website footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not prevent you from accessing the website, contacting us, or making a donation, although third-party donation features may apply their own necessary technologies.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages. If you have opted in to SMS messages, you may reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help, where supported, or contact us directly. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of making a donation or participating in an Omni Ignited program. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we control. We may need to verify your request and may retain information when required for legal, tax, security, or recordkeeping purposes.

8. Information about children

Omni Ignited serves youth through its mission and programs, but this website's contact, subscription, donation, and administrative forms are intended for adults, parents or guardians, donors, volunteers, partners, and authorized administrators. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without appropriate parental or guardian consent. Children under 13 should not submit information through the website. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

9. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including donor, tax, legal, operational, and security records. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
